I have 3 Panasonic DMP-BDT 220 Blu-ray players and all of them stopped connecting to Netflix at the same time. Although Panasonic seems to be particularity bad, all set top boxes and TVs seem to have occasionally have Netflix connection issues. Thanks May 31, 2017 · The Roku itself needs the internet connection to a router (gateway in this case) via ethernet. Not sure if it can do it wirelessly (or is there a model that can?). I suppose if the TV were connected internet via ethernet and the TV had an ethernet pass-through then the Roku might work that way connected to the TV's pass-through.
